Measuring Waist Width
1. Lay the trousers flat on a table or floor.
2. Button and zip up the trousers to ensure they are in their natural shape.
3. Flatten the waistband to remove any wrinkles or folds.
4. Measure straight across the waistband from one side to the other using a measuring tape.
Measuring Inside Leg
1. Lay the trousers flat on a table or floor.
2. Smooth out any wrinkles, making sure the fabric is fully extended.
3. Locate the crotch seam — this is where the two legs meet.
4. Place the measuring tape at the crotch seam and extend it down to the bottom hem of the trousers.
5. Note the measurement in centimeters or inches — this is your inseam length.
Measuring Upper Leg Width
1. Lay the trousers flat on a table or floor.
2. Find the widest part of the thigh, usually 1-2 inches (2.5-5 cm) below the crotch seam.
3. Measure across the thigh from one edge to the other.
Measuring Foot Opening Width
1. Lay the trousers flat on a table or floor.
2. Flatten the hem area to remove any wrinkles.
3. Measure straight across the bottom hem from one edge to the other.
